Alberta Ferrretti presented her new Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Spring/Summer 2013 collection in New York, 12th September 2012.Alberta said: "For the next season I wanted to combine the masculine and the feminine in a totally new way. Two opposite words but always more united in the contemporary wardrobe. This new balance creates a strong, current and feminine image". For this reason she chose the Oak Room of the Plaza Hotel as the venue of the show. An unusual venue for a catwalk where she managed to re-create the atmosphere of an early '900 private member club , a perfect background for this new femininity.
